Après avoir travaillé pendant 30 ans dans ce secteur de la propriété commerciale, Ian Burns décida de retourner à Liverpool et de fonder son propre cabinet. Ayant eu de l'expérience à Londres pour Nelson Bakewell puis pour DTZ, Ian est retourné à Liverpool où il a travaillé pour Mason Owen & Partners il y a environ 30 ans. En 2015, Burns Property Consultants a déménagé son bureau à Formby Village, juste à l'extérieur de Liverpool.
