Bio
The Wilf family immigrated to the United States from Europe in the early 1950s and settled in Hillside, New Jersey. Joseph and his brother Harry Wilf began purchasing apartment buildings and renting units. The brothers began building single-family homes and founded Garden Homes. After working as an attorney, Zygi joined the family business and became head of one of the company's affiliates, Garden Commercial Properties. Garden Commercial owns and manages in excess of 25 million square feet of retail and office space, which ranks in the Top 20 in the United States according to leading industry surveys.
In 2005 the Wilf family purchased the Minnesota Vikings from Red McCombs for $600 million. Zygi and his brother, Mark, have focused on creating a world class organization that consistently competes for championships, provides the best fan experience in the NFL, has a positive impact on the community and grows the game of football.
