Mr. Sweet has over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate finance and is primarily responsible for the origination and placement of both debt and structured finance transactions for all property types throughout the Western U.S. During the course of his career, he has been involved in over $3 billion in commercial real estate transactions. Previous to joining JLL, Mr. Sweet spent three years with Berkadia, advising on debt and equity placement for investors and developers. Prior to Berkadia, Mr. Sweet spent five years with HFF (Holliday Fenoglio Fowler) where he was a producer in both the Los Angeles and San Francisco offices. Prior to HFF, he was an underwriter with AIMCO Capital where he was responsible for underwriting partnership loans and financial reporting. Previous to AIMCO, he was an Underwriting Analyst with Fremont Investment & Loan and held several other finance positions with various institutions. He began his real estate career at Cushman & Wakefield in 1996 and spent two years as a Commercial Real Estate Analyst.
