Bio
Zak will be focused on growing our Southeast life sciences capabilities as we continue to see a migration of talent and science. He will work closely with Barrett and the wider team, including Vinnie Durand, Associate Director, and Ryanne Boursiquot, Lab and Facility Planner, both of whom are based in the Raleigh Durham Region. In addition, Snider will partner with Tucker Shade, Executive Vice President and North Carolina Market Leader for Savills, on local pursuits and team development.
Snider previously served as Vice President of Leasing for a local life sciences owner where he led all aspects of the firm’s regional life science portfolio. Prior to that, he was the Vice President of Global Real Estate Partnerships & Asset Management at WeWork, serving as the asset manager for its $1 billion sale and $200 million redevelopment of the former Lord & Taylor Building in New York. He also served as a Senior Vice President at CBRE in New York City, executing more than 10 million square feet of transactions, including two separate deals over 1 million square feet and several transactions eclipsing 100,000 square feet. Snider has also won several awards over the course of his career, most notably the coveted Real Estate Board of New York’s “Most Ingenious Deal of the Year” award in 2015. He has a Master’s of Architecture from Yale University.
