W. David Latimer is a Founding Partner of Palmetto Commercial Properties, Inc. with over 25 years of experience in leasing, brokerage and development of industrial, retail, and commercial properties. Latimer has represented numerous national, regional and local companies in the site selection and disposition of properties. He has extensive experience in section 1031 tax-free exchange transactions. Latimer established and owns, along with partner Carlyle Blakeney, Medical Development Associates, LLC, an investment company that deals exclusively in the development of design build medical office buildings in the Southeast.
Prior to forming Palmetto Commercial Properties, Inc., Latimer was a partner and stockholder of Disher, Hamrick and Myers and a former commercial loan officer with a regional bank located in South Carolina. Latimer graduated from The Citadel and has a Masters of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. He is married with two children.
