Bill Truszkowski joined MB Real Estate in 2019 as a Senior Vice President and Managing Director of its Leasing Services Group and has been involved in nearly 5.6 million square feet of lease transactions over of his 19-year career. In 2010 and 2015, he was awarded the Greater Chicago Food Depository Office Representative of the Year Award and was a finalist for the award in 2007 and 2012.
Prior to joining MB Real Estate, Bill was a Senior Vice President with The Telos Group where he directed property leasing for 4.8 million square feet comprised of Prudential Plaza, 111 South Wacker Drive, and Citadel Center in downtown Chicago. At Telos, Bill was responsible for negotiating Citadel’s new 400,000+ square foot lease at 131 S. Dearborn, one of the largest lease transactions in the CBD in 2017 and Deloitte’s 330,000 square foot lease renewal at 111 South Wacker Drive, one of the largest lease transactions in the CBD in 2015. Bill was also responsible for the repositioning of Prudential Plaza, which helped increase occupancy from 34% to 92% in 2.5 years.
Prior to joining Telos, Bill spent nearly 14 years with Chicago-based John Buck Company where he was a Senior Vice President in its Product Leasing Group. Bill was responsible for the ground-up leasing of 155 North Wacker Drive, a 46-story, 1.2 million square foot high-rise office development at the northeast corner of Wacker Drive and Randolph Street in Chicago. In addition, Bill leased 111 South Wacker Drive, 77 West Wacker Drive, 200 West Monroe, 100 North Riverside, The Rookery, and 142 East Ontario Street.
Bill earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
