Background & Experience of Bill Corace
Bill Corace comes from a long-line of builders and developers and is a 3rd generation professional who began his real estate and construction career at 22 as an infrastructure-improvement contractor. He then began building single-family homes and multi-family projects, and finally specializing in building a variety of large commercial developments.
Over a 25-year period, he developed, built, owned and managed over 500,000sf and $100 million of income-producing properties; specializing in multi-family, light-industrial, suburban flex/office and business parks. His hands-on responsibilities included every aspect of real estate development, from conception to construction, to managing the completed projects. He brings a unique perspective to a development’s potential by having a lifetime of actual construction/site work experience and viewing each real estate opportunity by using a “builder’s eye”. He is not just someone who puts deals together without having “construction-boots-on-the-ground”, and years of “hands-on” experience. (He learned how to operate a D-4 Caterpillar bulldozer at the age of 14.)
Based on this extensive experience, he has created a new company; Private Development Corporation (PDC), which will specialize in providing development services to individuals or groups who would like to invest in the rapidly growing commercial real estate market in Naples and in other areas of southwestern Florida. He has become knowledgeable with all aspects of the Naples real estate market; by completing an 6-month-long market analysis of the multi-family and commercial real estate markets and meeting with 6 residential and commercial real estate brokerage firms.
