William J. “Billy” Berthiaume, II is the Founder and Broker of Record for CapRate Commercial Real Estate Advisors, LLC and related companies located in West Palm Beach, FL.
Bill brings more than 16 years of investment, acquisitions and dispositions, brokerage sales, business development, capital raising, underwriting, business development, marketing and strategic partnerships and to these entities and his projects. He actively participates in multifamily acquisitions and condo conversions as a principal allowing him to bring a unique, first-hand knowledge base to his teammates and clients. He is a true leader and mentor who leads by example with a tireless work ethic and an honest desire to empower and push his team and clients to a higher level.
Bill is passionate about real estate and thrives on the challenges associated with the business and deal structure. He has personally brokered, advised, negotiated or participated in excess of $500M in transactions. He has received multiple awards recognizing his leadership, sales, negotiation abilities and ability to navigate and execute difficult transactions. He is proud to have had the opportunity to mentor and manage many successful professionals in sales and brokerage at a top national commercial real estate brokerage firm prior to pursuing his latest businesses.
Outside of his business pursuits, he and his wife are active in charities focusing on helping and supporting our military veterans and their families as well as underprivileged and sick children. In addition to his charitable efforts, he enjoys volunteering to coach youth sports with a focus on developing young people to aspire to great heights through lessons learned through sports participation. He is a 3rd generation Florida native and currently lives in Palm Beach County with his wife, Jennifer, and their 2 daughters.
