Bio
William Heishman has over 25+ years’ experience in commercial real estate sales as well as banking and finance and real estate fund management in the U.S., Asia and Europe. From 2004 to 2012, he was Founder and President of Infinity Mortgage Co., Ltd., a specialty real estate services firm located in Tokyo, Japan. Since 2017, Mr. Heishman has worked at Moody’s Analytics as an instructor teaching and developing multiple in-person and on-line courses focused on commercial real estate (CRE), including CRE Analysis Foundations, Advanced CRE Analysis, Construction Lending, Global Real Estate Investments and Real Estate Finance. Before founding Infinity Mortgage, Mr. Heishman was employed at Lone Star Opportunity Fund in Tokyo (2000-2002), and was responsible for hard-asset acquisition and asset management as well as non-recourse lending at Tokyo Star Bank, which Lone Star acquired in 2001. Mr. Heishman began his real estate banking and finance career in New York at Chemical Bank (1992-1996) and Merrill Lynch (1996-1998). Fluent in Japanese, Mr. Heishman is a dual MBA/MA in Asian Studies from Cornell University and is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in Virginia, New York and Florida.
