Bio
Wendy was born and raised in Lufkin. She is a graduate of Lufkin High School and went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Stephen F. Austin State University. Sales runs through her veins. She grew up working behind the scenes for her dad in his clothing business and saw what it takes to work with the public, how to be respectful to your clients, and most importantly – how to close the deal.
Before her real estate career, Wendy spent 20 years in the Telecom Industry in various positions from being an executive assistant, Project Manager, and Regulatory Analyst. In these roles, she was in a customer service facing position, internally and externally. She understands the importance of great customer service and confidentiality with her clients.
Wendy has a passion for all things real estate – whether it be helping a first-time home buyer find the perfect starter home, finding that investment property to add to your portfolio, or helping empty nesters move on to their next chapter. She takes pride in being available to her clients and the importance of answering her phone! But her first love of real estate started with finding that diamond in the rough and flipping it to be better than before.
If you know Wendy, you know she is all about her dogs. She has a true love for animals. She sits on the board of the Winnie Berry Humane Society and you can find her out raising money for their Fundraising Committee.
Outside of real estate, you can find Wendy doing CrossFit at Unity Fitness, rescuing dogs, reading, or working on her AirBnb at Lake Sam Rayburn.
In 2019, Wendy was awarded the Rookie of the Year by the Lufkin Association of Realtors along with Gann Medford Real Estate’s Rookie of the Year. She also served on the Advocacy Committee and Hospitality Committee.
In 2020, Gann Medford Real Estate, Inc. awarded her with the Community Impact Award. As Lufkin Association of Realtors Advocacy Chairperson, she facilitated donations/volunteers to 15 different local organizations throughout the year.
Since her first year in the business, Wendy continues to be a multi-million-dollar producer. Her passion for real estate, helping others and putting her clients’ needs first, makes her an excellent choice for your real estate needs.
