Walter P. Peter, III has been actively involved in commercial real estate for over 27 years, initially as counsel for publicly traded hotel developers, and, later, as a developer and a commercial real estate broker with Long & Foster Real Estate, focusing on opportunities in the Virginia Counties of Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William.
With Long & Foster, Mr. Peter works with clients in the acquisition, disposition and development of commercial investment properties. In 2006, Mr. Peter was responsible for over 100 commercial listings.
Since 2004, Mr. Peter has been involved in more than $60 million of commercial real estate transactions, encompassing the acquisition, renovation and sale of existing properties, as well as ground-up development of commercial projects.
Mr. Peter specializes in the identification, analysis and creation of value-added investment opportunities. His experience in obtaining entitlements, estimating renovation and development costs and understanding and coordinating the development process results in enhanced profit potential.
Mr. Peter received his BA and JD from the University of Pennsylvania.
