Bio
He has lived in Tallahassee for over 45 years. He is a graduate of Leon High School where he began his football career. His senior year, 1974, he set the national high school passing record for a single season. He was honored by being selected as an All American and the State of Florida's Prep Player of the Year. In four years at Florida State (1976-1979), he threw 476 passes, completing 273 for 3,550 yards and 22 touchdowns. In his greatest performance, he ripped the Florida Gator defense to shreds in 1978 completing 16 of 24 passes for 179 yards, winning AP's Southeastern back of the week for his effort. Woodham was better known for what he did to win than his statistics while at FSU. From 1977 through 1979, Woodham led Florida State to the top nationally with a record of 29-6, including three straight victories over Florida. His unselfish play and the team's success propelled FSU into a perennial Top 20 program. Folks still talk about his win against the Florida Gators in 1978. For that performance he was selected AP's Southeastern back of the week. He helped lead the Seminoles to three straight victories over the Gators. His hard work and dedication was honored in 1979 when he was selected captain of Coach Bowden's 1st Orange Bowl team. He was honored again in 1985 when he was inducted into Florida State University’s Hall of Fame. He is also an alumnus of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He bought that winning spirit with him to Woodham Commercial Real Estate. He knows what it takes to win . . . hard work and dedication!
