Bio
With over 23 years of experience in commercial real estate, Tyler Newman serves as the senior-most member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Jacksonville Industrial Services Team. The four-person team represents the market’s top landlords, tenants, investors and developers in leasing, sales, site-selection and more throughout Northeast Florida and beyond.
Certified by the Global Supply Chain Solutions Group (GSCS) since 2007, Mr. Newman brings a deep understanding of the needs and challenges his clients face. He leverages his experience and skills to deliver maximum results for his clients.
Over the last several years, Mr. Newman and his team have been involved in many of Jacksonville’s largest industrial deals and have developed a niche for transactions over 100,000 square feet. As the Jacksonville industrial market expands with new development, the team has also become the “go-to” leasing team for speculative space within new Class A warehouses, distribution centers and logistics parks. In the last five years alone, Mr. Newman and his teammates have completed lease and sale transactions totaling nearly $800 million and 15 million square feet of space.
Some of the significant projects Mr. Newman has leased include STAG Westlake, Freebird Commerce Center, International Distribution Center 1 and 5, Webb International, Creekside Distribution Center 1, 2 and 3, STAG Imeson, and Westgate Distribution Center. Notable clients include LINK (Blackstone), STAG, Jackson Shaw, Eisenberg Holdings, Amazon, Webb International, Fanatics, Total Distribution, Tapestry Inc. (Coach), Patriot Rail and Citi.
