Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Troy spent his early childhood years on a farm in far North Texas. He eventually moved back to Fort Worth, graduated from Nolan Catholic High School and once again, left his hometown to join the US Navy. After serving his country during the first Gulf War, in 1995, Troy moved back to the North Texas area, attended DeVry University and began a career in security software marketing and sales. In 2005 he and his family moved to Austin, Texas and settled in the Lake Travis Area. After spending just short of 25 years in security software sales and marketing, navigating international corporate board rooms around the globe and achieving top earnings, he decided to bring his cultured acumen back to the community. In 2018, he began working alongside a local Lake Travis realtor in a marketing and public relations capacity. There he learned the ins and out real estate sales and marketing and started his own business. During this time, he began his journey to obtain a license to sell real estate in Texas as well as joined the board of directors as Vice Chairman for a Lake Travis based, non-profit called Warrior Companion. Here he helps provide military veterans and first responders, service animals with pet health insurance. Troy is a leader among leaders. He is service-oriented, cultured, kind and knowledgeable about a lot. His sales and marketing sense are rivaled by no other in the industry. Additionally, Troy’s company, Soldier Home Realty Group, gives back a portion of all their commissions, from each real estate transaction, back to the non-profit on behalf of his clients.
