Bio
Tran Dong is Vietnamese and was born in the Philippines. She was raised in Texarkana and attended Louisiana State University where she studied Finance and Accounting. Tran began her career in hospitality while in Texarkana and following college, went to work for Hilton Post Oak in Houston working in finance. She was hired by Hilton Corporate and relocated to Miami to joined the finance team at the Conrad Miami. During this time she served on a task force for the Casa Marina in Key West, Bahia Mar in Fort Lauderdale, Hilton Lake Buena Vista in Orlando, and several other hotels in the Hilton Corporate portfolio. She then became finance manager of the Waldorf Astoria in Boca Raton. Following her time in Boca Raton, she moved to West Palm Beach to open the new Hilton West Palm Beach where she served as the Accounting Manager as well as built the team that opened the hotel. After working in West Palm, Tran had an opportunity to move back to Texas where she became the Hotel Auditor at Hilton Americas where she oversaw all accounting and finance at the 1,207 room hotel. She desired to transition out of corporate hospitality and move to San Antonio where she joined Partlow Properties. She currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and Director of Hospitality. When she is not working, she enjoys travelling and experiencing great food and culinary experiences.
