Bio
Tony is the founder and broker of Landmark Commercial Realty, Inc. Having started Landmark in 2006, it has become one of the most distinguished land and commercial brokerage firms in Cherokee County. Tony started Landmark with a strong foundation and "hands-on" experience in the building and development industry. Prior to forming Landmark, Tony was V.P. of Acquisition and Development for the internationally recognized building and development firm based in metro Atlanta, Hedgewood Properties. Tony has been responsible for the creation and implementation of some of north metro Atlanta's premier mixed-use communities and true community revitalization within the metro Atlanta area. This background in actual land development has made Tony one of the better known and capable land brokers in north metro Atlanta, particularly Cherokee County from where he is based. If you have been to downtown Woodstock you cannot miss his handiwork as he helped assemble and create the award winning mixed-use development "Woodstock Downtown" that has been the catalyst for downtown redevelopment for the region. Tony has done everything in the development and building industry from wearing a tool belt framing homes to site acquisition, site planning, zoning, engineering, development...all the way through lender and complex governmental relations. These multifaceted experiences have given Tony a strong background in commercial development, outparcels, retail center sales, and overall "deal" analysis. As a commercial investment property owner himself, he understands the needs and concerns of commercial investment buyers. Tony is also actively involved in the community. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity North Central Georgia. He has also been a Local Director on the Board of Directors for the Cherokee County Association of Realtors, served over 10 years on the Board of Directors for the Downtown Development Authority for Woodstock, GA, served as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors for The Greenprints Alliance, served on the Board of Directors with the Cherokee County Outdoor YMCA, and served on the steering committee for the City of Woodstock to create the new zoning and master plan for the downtown district of Woodstock, as well as assisting with several local charities. His adventurous side has led him on different journeys around the world over the years, the largest travel adventure to date being his walking the entire Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine not once but twice. Specialties: Strengths include complicated land assemblages (largest to date being assemblage of 60 parcels within the downtown district of Woodstock and 200 acres in the Bells Ferry LCI district), identifying and consulting on mixed-use redevelopment projects, commercial outparcel sales, and retail/office center sales, as well as commercial leasing for retail, restaurant, or office space. Combined with this are very strong research skills to make sure the full market conditions are considered for every transaction.
