Tom M. FitzGerald is a Senior Director – Asset Management at Asana Partners. FitzGerald has 14 years of real estate value creation experience in leasing, property management and operations, portfolio management, investment underwriting, and tenant and investor relations. Fitzgerald has deep experience and is regarded for his expertise with office leasing strategy and execution in urban, mixed-use neighborhoods.
Prior to Asana Partners, FitzGerald was an Executive Vice President at JLL, an industry leading commercial real estate services and investment firm. While at JLL, FitzGerald was a critical team member that oversaw execution of over 450 leases totaling more than 6 million square feet and $1.2 billion in lease value primarily in urban, mixed-use neighborhoods.
Prior to JLL, FitzGerald was a Real Estate Manager with CBRE, the largest commercial real estate services and investment firm. At CBRE, he oversaw asset management of a portfolio including retail, office, industrial, and data centers. FitzGerald started his career in Washington, D.C. with Booz Allen Hamilton serving as a consultant on the Economic and Business Systems Analysis team which was embedded with the Homeland Security Department.
FitzGerald earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Hampden-Sydney College.
