Prior to forming O’Leary Realty Corporation in 1996, Mr. O’Leary was Senior Vice-President with the Anderson Shroud Group from 1993-1996 and Vice-President of Harrington Tideman O’Leary & Company, where he worked from 1974 to 1993. He earned both his B.S. in Finance and M.S.B.A. from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL.
Mr. O’Leary holds two of the most prestigious designations in the commercial/industrial real estate industry – the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).

SIOR has approximately 3,000 members in more than 630 cities worldwide who hold the designation. Members meet rigid professional and ethical standards and must demonstrate proven marketing ability and knowledge of the principles involved in the guidance and completion of real estate transactions. Real estate professionals who have earned the SIOR designation are recognized as the most capable and experienced brokerage practitioners in any market.
CCIM members must complete a prescribed graduate –level course of study, demonstrate a certifiable record of accomplishment in commercial investment real estate transactions and meet strict ethical standards.
