Bio
Currently the Director of Leasing for Boston Avenue Management, Terry Argue’s expertise includes property management, facilities management, agency leasing, tenant representation, acquisitions, dispositions and construction. Previously the company he founded, Argue Properties, Inc. was widely recognized as a leader in the management, leasing, sales and development of quality office properties. During more than 34 years in the business, he has leased in excess of 8.5 million square feet.
Immediately following his undergraduate education at Oral Roberts University, Terry began his career as a broker in 1984 with Rippy & Company, a full-service commercial real estate firm. In 1988, he accepted a management and leasing assignment in Northeast Oklahoma. The portfolio consisted of office and warehouse properties owned by the Prudential Insurance Company.
Terry was recruited to California as regional manager for R&B Commercial Management Company where he was responsible for the management teams on 17 commercial projects in Los Angeles County. He supervised all management, leasing, construction and financial reporting duties and a staff of 55 professionals. In September of 1993, Terry returned to Tulsa assuming property management responsibilities over the Mid-Continent Tower, which is one of the highest quality office projects in Oklahoma. In July of 1996, Terry assumed responsibilities for all commercial operations in the Tulsa office, including Oklahoma City, Kansas City and Lincoln, Nebraska. In 1997 Terry was appointed receiver of Mid-Continent Tower, an appointment that would last until the property was sold on October 1st, 2011. Terry purchased the regional operations of Insignia in August of 1999, leading to the formation of Coldwell Banker Commercial Argue Properties in 2000, an affiliation that would last for 10 years. In 2011 with the sale of the Mid-Continent Tower, Terry joined Boston Avenue Management.
