Teresa Borgen serves as Director, Transaction Services and Office Tenant Representation in the Minneapolis office of Newmark. Teresa has been in the commercial real estate business for nearly a decade and works with an industry-leading team of tenant representation brokers. Teresa is accustomed to a fast-paced environment undertaking tasks such as creating and building market surveys, Powerpoint presentations, proposals, tour books and lease abstracts. She works with the project team to understand and assist with tracking all project-related activities.
As Transaction Manager, Teresa Borgen helps execute all steps surrounding transactions including the completion of project initiation sheets, market surveys, client tours, RFP’s, counterproposals, LOI’s, Broker’s Opinion of Value and test fits to lease execution and project closeout. She acts as liaison between the landlord, brokers, asset managers and key stakeholders.
Prior to joining Newmark, Teresa focused on leasing office properties in downtown Minneapolis. She has worked on some of Minneapolis’ most prominent buildings including Fifth Street Towers, 10 West End, Baker Center, Colonial Warehouse, Butler Square, Towers at West End, and The Colonnade. Teresa’s experience working with notable institutional investors and asset managers will be invaluable when helping tenants analyze their leasing scenarios and strategies.
