As Shattuck Properties Partner, Ted brings more than two decades of experience in real estate and technology, an essential skill set given how important infrastructure and technology are in the space companies chose to occupy in today's environment.
A resident of the seacoast for more than 20 years, Ted has a strong understanding of the area’s commercial and residential real estate climate. His experience includes representing both landlords and tenants in complex commercial RE transactions with a total of approximately 1.5M square feet valued at $50M. Ted’s largest transactions include the disposition of a high-tech manufacturing facility for $12.4M and a successful tenant representation for a global company with a total lease value of approximately $5M.
Ted is married to Karen (McGrath), a veteran Boston area advertising executive. The Geary’s have two children, Kathleen (Kit) (21) and Aidan (18).
Outside of spending quality time with his family in Newburyport and York, ME, Ted is a fitness enthusiast who's competed in many long distance triathlons. He has three rescue dogs (Lucky, Daisy, and Scout), which provide great entertainment value and drama to the Geary Clan! Ted spent almost (6) months in Australia in his early 20s for no apparent reason.
