Tarek El Gammal is an Executive Managing Director for Newmark’s Nashville Office. Together with Vincent Lefler, he established the Nashville office in 2020 where they are responsible for advising institutional and private clients in the disposition, recapitalization and capital formation of multifamily assets across the Southeast with a focus on covering primary and secondary markets in Tennessee. As a team, they have won multiple awards from NAIOP’s 2019 Brokerage Team of the Year to being a CoStar Power Broker for 8 years.
Prior to joining Newmark, El Gammal was a Senior Vice President with JLL. He also has experience with The Tuckerman Group, Equity Residential and Southeast Venture. He has held numerous leadership positions throughout his career in development, capital markets, operations, and real estate services with various firms where he has transacted nearly $5 billion in multifamily transactions during his 27-year career.
