Tamara brings more than ten years of real estate development and asset management experience to Guardian Real Estate Services. Her experience includes site acquisition, risk analysis, contract negotiations, real estate financing, raising equity and capital, construction administration, and marketing and lease-up.
Prior to her career in real estate, Tamara owned and operated a storefront in Portland, Oregon, having negotiated leases, managing tenant improvements, and working with vendors. Previously, Tamara worked with a small civil engineering firm during the residential boom in the early 2000s and also worked at KPFF Engineering in Portland, Oregon, where she provided land use planning and entitlement services for residential and commercial developers, and was also the quality assurance coordinator for public projects. Tamara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from Washington State University.
