Syrah O. Paul graduated from the University of the Virgin Islands with dual degrees, a Bachelor in Mathematics and an Associate in Business Management. She then furthered her studies at Georgia State University where she received her Masters degree in Mathematics.
Syrah joined G. Randall Hammond & Company as an associate appraiser in 2004. She has been practicing real estate appraising in Georgia since 1998, and is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. She is also on the HUD list for approved FHA appraisers. Throughout her career, Syrah has encountered and appraised various types of real estate which include vacant land, single & multi family residences, condominiums, investment, industrial, office, retail, and special-purpose properties.
Prior to joining GRHCO, Syrah worked her way through college as a residential real estate appraiser and founded We Appraise, a residential real estate appraisal firm here in Georgia. Syrah serves as the company’s supervisory appraiser overseeing the preparation of appraisals for various lending institutions.
Ms. Paul is an SRA member of the Appraisal Institute and is currently working towards her MAI designation.
