Steve and Joshua are native Floridians. Steve learned his love of real estate from his father, William, who was a home builder and real estate developer starting in the 1960’s. Having grown up in the residential home construction business Steve quickly progressed from construction superintendent, at the age of 17, to project manager to Vice-President of operations supervising a project manager, superintendents and a full support staff. Steve’s career has taken him into multi-city construction management involving new construction, development and renovations with operations going in 4 different cities in Florida at one time. With a thorough background in new construction and renovations in single family homes, townhouses, multifamily apartments, office space, retail strip centers and warehouses Steve embarked into sales and leasing of commercial properties in early 2006 which has been a mainstay of his business.
Through on the job experience Steve gained extensive entitlement experience in obtaining the issuance of appropriate permits, approvals, and zoning changes from the City of Jacksonville Building and Zoning Department, Public Works Department, Concurrency Department, Impact Fees, Jacksonville Electric Authority, City Council, Department of Environmental Protection, St. Johns River Water Management District, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and any and all other governmental agencies having jurisdiction. Steve has worked with experienced and dedicated teams of experts during the development process from land acquisition to civil engineering to vertical construction. With this vast new construction background Metro Capital Properties is uniquely qualified to be your brokerage firm.
Steve applies this broad working knowledge and management experience to his field of real estate brokerage which includes commercial sales and leasing including buyer & seller representation and landlord & tenant representation.

Steve is married to Donna, his wonderful bride of 35 years, and has 2 grown children Sara and Joshua. Like Steve, Joshua is following his dads footsteps having earned a State of Florida sales associate license and joining Metro Capital Properties. Drawing on Steve’s residential experience Joshua has entered the new home market representing buyers searching for new homes.
