Bio
A native of the south, Steven grew up in both Fort Myers, Florida and Memphis, Tennessee. He then moved to Oxford, Mississippi where he graduated from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in Banking and Managerial Finance. After graduation, he moved back to Memphis to open and operate a delivery service for ten years. His business won the Memphis Business Journal’s Small Business of the Year award and received runner-up the following two years. Steven then decided to sell his business and move to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado where he had success as an entrepreneur in other service businesses.
In 2000, Steven settled in Charlottesville and began his real estate career by buying and selling investment properties. He joined a local real estate firm in 2001 and has since received numerous accolades. He was both Charlottesville Association of Realtors’ Rookie of the Year and New Associate of the Year in 2003. Steven has been involved in property management since 2003 and in 2012 he opened Braden Property, to focus on full time property management.
He has considerable experience in owning and managing rental properties and all phases of home renovation. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoys hiking in the mountains with his wife Michelle, and Golden Retriever Levi.
