As a veteran of nearly three decades of service to the Jacksonville community, Steve has earned respect for his expansive knowledge of the market. With a career that spans public service, government and business, people have always counted on him to get things done...and he has delivered.
Steve began to build his base of contacts and market savvy while at the Jacksonville Area Planning Board and the Jacksonville Historic Landmarks Commission in the 1970s and early 80s. After a brief stint as Executive Director of the Palm Beach Landmarks Preservation Commission, he returned to the First Coast as a staffer for Mayors Godbold and Hazouri. There, Steve honed his business and political skills and widened his influence while focusing on economic and community development activities.
Steve was then asked to lead economic development and governmental relations efforts for the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce. After six years of success in lobbying state and local officials and recruiting and retaining business on the First Coast, he entered the commercial real estate business with Cornerstone Management & Leasing in 1994.
Steve is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Greenscape, the Leadership Jacksonville Class of 1988, the Jacksonville Community Council, Inc. (JCCI), the Jacksonville Historical Society and the San Marco Preservation Society.
To Phoenix Realty Group and it's clients, Steve brings a deep knowledge of the Jacksonville market and its players, and a special focus on retail sales, leasing and management.
