Steven Garthwaite is a retail investment sales specialist in Marcus & Millichap’s Philadelphia office, where he exclusively represents both sellers and buyers of investment properties throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region. Steven advises and assists private investors in all aspects of retail shopping center and net-leased investment transactions across various tenant types but has carved a niche in the disposition of gas convenience stores. Steven’s background in corporate finance allows him to be both a broker and advisor to clients to help maximize return on assets when leverage can be used. His in depth understanding of tenant operations allows him to be an advisor to clients looking at their first single-tenant asset for investment. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Steven was a fixed asset manager for a private company based in Philadelphia. Steven currently resides in Philadelphia and attended Temple University. When not working, Steven is an avid runner and actively engages in volunteer activities and fundraising for local organizations including, Back on My Feet, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, American Cancer Society, and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
