Steve started his professional career as an officer in the U.S. Army. He then transitioned into a business career with the Union Camp Corporation and continued his professional growth in various roles. Upon the completion of a corporate merger at Union Camp, he began a 19-year career at Duer/Carolina Coil in Spartanburg.
