Steve Williamson is Managing Director for both the Retail Services & Urban Land Services divisions of Transwestern's Central Region. As Director of Retail Services, Steve oversees all retail-related activities including site planning of any new shopping center development, project leasing, tenant representation, site selection, big-box retail negotiations, pad site transactions, and retail investment sales. As Director of Urban Land Services, Steve specializes in land investments, the new development of raw land, and the re-development of infill sites. He is Past-President of the North Texas Land Council, is regularly hired to lend his expertise to master plan large mixed-use projects, is an expert in the valuation of land for a wide range of uses, and is actively involved in site selection for new retail, office, multi-family, mixed-use, residential, hotel and self-storage development projects throughout Texas and the Southwestern U.S.
Prior to joining Transwestern in 1997, Steve was President of his own retail brokerage and development firm for 13 years, most recently known as Cornerstone Commercial Real Estate, Inc., with sales and lease transactions totaling over $700 million. Prior to Cornerstone, Steve served at Henry S. Miller Company as Senior Vice President, a member of the Chairman’s Council, and Co-Director of the HSM Land Division and accounted for over $300 million in land transactions. In 2007, Steve personally sold $100 million of land for new commercial development in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Major land deals include the Indian Creek Ranch development (1,200 acres); The Presidio (300 acres), Citadel (85 acres) and Hunter Crossroads projects 160) all in North Fort Worth, The Presidio (130 acres) in northwest Austin, and Hunter Gateway (80 acres) in Prosper. Major multi-family deals include Republic Bank Tower (Gables), 4600 Ross (Cypress), and The Michael and The Alyssa in northwest Austin (Streetlights Residential). Major retail deals include the Left Bank on W. 7th (Tom Thumb), the East Plano Corridor (Walmart, Sam’s, Kohl’s, Best Buy, LA Fitness, Main Event)
