Stephen P. Durr is President and CEO of Goodstone LLC. He personally directs all of Goodstone’s transactional and investment activities, and has extensive experience in acquisitions, procuring and structuring debt and equity, asset and property management, marketing and leasing, construction management and dispositions.
Prior to founding Goodstone, Mr. Durr was President of Bethesda, Maryland-based Moore&Associates, joining the firm in 1990. As President he developed and implemented the firm’s business plan, oversaw all aspects of its four lines of business and chaired the Executive Committee. Mr. Durr was directly responsible for investment and transactional activities, creating and implementing asset management strategies, investor and lender relationships, and company operations for this sixty-employee firm.
Prior to working at Moore&Associates, Mr. Durr was a Vice President at Rubloff Institutional Real Estate Services in Washington, DC. While at Rubloff, Mr. Durr was responsible for a three million square foot office, retail and industrial portfolio. He began his career in 1983 with Property Management Systems in Houston, Texas, and worked for the Horne Company and Rust Properties in Austin, Texas.
Mr. Durr holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
