For more than 20 years, Stephen has been a full-time licensed broker. He has been recognized as a Diamond Producer with annual sales up to the $11 million mark. Steve appreciates the trust his clients have placed in him and strives to accomplish their goals by treating them as a professional and a friend. With direct investments in the multi-family market, Stephen has a personal understanding of the challenges and opportunities, including hands-on management, renovation of buildings and houses, and new construction. As an agent that works in both residential and commercial real estate, Stephen can assist clients with exploring financial options as well as finding their personal residence or second home. Stephen is active in civic and community affairs serving as First Vice Chair of Advantage West (WNC Economic Development Commission), member of the Public Policy committee for the Council of Real Estate Investor's Association, Board of Directors for the Asheville Board of Realtors and serves on the ABR Finance Committee. Stephen assisted with the incorporation of the municipality of Chimney Rock Village where he continues to serve in an administrative role and as the Finance Director. In his spare time, he especially enjoys cycling where he races in the Master's division, Road, Criterium and the occasional Time Trail and he frequently participates in community charity rides. Another passion is his support for and attendance at Appalachian State University athletic contest, primarily football games and support and attendance at University of North Carolina Asheville basketball. A native of Belmont, North Carolina, Stephen has a Bachelor Science and Master of Arts from Appalachian State University.
