Bio
Stanley Lindenfeld joined Lee & Associates NYC as an Executive Managing Director in 2011. Prior to that he was at Grubb & Ellis, where he specialized in retail sales and leasing, representing owners, landlords, and tenants. Mr. Lindenfeld began his real estate career 18 years ago and soon joined Bernstein Real Estate, where he partnered with Henry Goldfarb on numerous complex and high profile retail, restaurant, and catering transactions. At Lee NYC, Mr. Lindenfeld continues his collaboration with Mr. Goldfarb in representing owners, landlords, and tenants in a variety of restaurant and commercial retail transactions. Mr. Lindenfeld was a part of the Grubb & Ellis team that exclusively represented the Crowne Plaza building, a 1-million-square-foot mixed-use hospitality and commercial real estate asset containing over 14,000 square feet of retail space. He helped reconfigure the retail space, working with City Investment Fund, the property owner, create more profitable and efficient usage. He successfully helped fully lease the retail space. Along with Mr. Goldfarb, Mr. Lindenfeld exclusively represents a number of major landlords, including AIMCO, a publicly-traded New York REIT, and the Friedman family’s retail and development portfolio, encompassing properties throughout Manhattan, and Miller Real Estate, owners of shopping centers, office buildings, and residential units throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties. Mr. Lindenfeld has worked with one of the most in-demand caterers, the Tribeca Rooftop Restaurant Group, to place them at 480 Canal Street. Mr. Lindenfeld also provides advisory and consulting services for large national retail chains, providing feasibility studies for market penetration in the Tri-State area. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
