Stan has been involved in Sales and Marketing since the early 1970s when he sold Specialty Advertising all over the Southeast. He worked as a Marketing Representative for
Warner-Lambert then moved to Brown & Bigelow Corporation and served as District Maager supervising sales representatives in six states. He received several awards for sales production during that time.
In 1986 Stan decided to move into Real Estate where constant travel was not required. He was named Rookie of the Year by the Birmingham Area Board of Realtors that year and Number One Sales Associate for CKM Realtors. In 1987 he was named a Life Member of the Million Dollar Sales Club. In 2002 he received the Leading Edge Award from Prudential Real Estate. Early on he believed that Commercial Real Estate was where he could best achieve his goals and made that his main objective. Over the years he has introduced new hotels, restaurants, retail stores, office buildings and warehouses across a broad area of the state.
He brought 20 different businesses to Hoover’s John Hawkins Parkway alone.
Stan has lived in Birmingham most of his life. He attended Birmingham Southern College. He and his wife, Pat have been married 44 years and are long time members of Metropolitan Church, where he serves as an Elder. He is also honored to have served as Chairman of the Council for the Salvation Army ARC here in Birmingham, which is a rehabilitation center for men suffering from drug and alcohol abuse.
