As associate director with Savills Calgary office, Spencer Duff advises clients in lease negotiations (renewals, renegotiations, terminations, expansions, and relocations) and other real estate transactions that help businesses find their most advantageous opportunities. He specializes in the Calgary office market, but also provides a single point of contact for clients’ national and international commercial real estate needs. Spencer excels at building strong client relationships that are developed on the backbone of superior customer service, unsurpassed market knowledge and consistent work ethic. Spencer leverages his market expertise, analytical capabilities and negotiating skills to identify and capitalize on winning leasing and sale opportunities for clients. He has deep experience in new site selection and acquisitions, sublease and dispositions, as well as consulting, market research and alternative workplace strategies. He brings a diligent and analytical approach to help clients identify, negotiate and execute difficult, multi-faceted transactions through all points in the economic cycle. Spencer joined Savills in 2020 after four and a half years at Avison Young as a senior associate and associate. Prior to Avison Young, he was a marketing associate with Dundee Goodman Private Wealth. Spencer is actively involved as a volunteer in several local, national and international community organizations, including the Dinos 5th Quarter Association, the United Nations Association in Canada, Calgary Branch, the Calgary Catholic School District, and the Calgary Catholic Immigration Society. In addition to his Bachelor’s degrees in Education and Sociology, he is pursuing a law degree at the University of Calgary.
