Son was born and raised in Da Nang, Viet Nam. His family moved to Fort Wayne when he was seventeen. After graduating from Purdue Fort Wayne in 1998, he worked for GE Motors for 5 years and Trelleborg Sealing Solutions for another 5 years as a Mechanical Engineer. He is married to Kha, and they have two children, Kevin and Sean. In his spare time, Son likes to ride his road bike, play golf, fish, and kayak. He volunteers with several nonprofit organizations in Allen County and served as a board member for Parkview YMCA, Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne. and Amani Family Services. Son likes craft beers, especially Hazy IPAs, so don't serve him that Miller Lite!
