Robert F. “Sky” Miller III specializes in land development, adaptive re-use and landlord/owner representation. Adaptive development in emerging and re-emerging markets is one of Sky’s greatest passions.
Sky brings a client-centric, values-driven approach to his clients. These values, along with his long standing knowledge of the real estate market, have earned him lasting relationships with owners and developers within the industry.
Sky holds his real estate licenses in both Colorado and Texas, and has extensive experience in acquisitions, development, management, leasing, and disposition of real property assets. He studied Geography, with focus on Resource Management and Geographical Information Systems at the University of Texas at Austin. Notable accomplishments include: the acquisitions of over 350,000 acres of mineral/surface rights in Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana and Colorado. Most recently, Sky, represented the land sale for Uber Technologies’ second corporate headquarters in downtown Dallas to Westdale properties. He has also been the land administrator/field manager on a 12,000-acre oil field redevelopment program, and managed working interest on a 220,000 acre West Texas ranch operated by Exxon/XTO. As a Landman, Real Estate Broker, and business development professional, he is well accustomed to the process of complex business projects, making him a versatile resource.
Sky loves spending time with his family, music, weather, the outdoors, hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, and keeping his dad bod from getting out of hand. He has been married to his college sweetheart, Carolyn for 15 years, has two boys, 8 and 2, and a fur baby(dog), Chili.
Fun fact, due to being the 3rd Robert F Miller, he was nicknamed Sky, because his mother said, “Sky’s the limit”.
