Bio
Shelly is a Portland native and University of Oregon graduate, with a passion for providing unparalleled service and professional guidance to her clients. Embarking on her real estate career in 2007, she quickly built a solid reputation and loyal following through her in depth market knowledge, firm and fair negotiations skills, and her consultative approach—guiding her clients to make informed decisions throughout their purchase or sale. Shelly adheres to an “open and often” approach to communication, understanding the great importance of this to all clients, regardless if it is their first or final transaction.
Raising her family in Cedar Mill, the same northwest Portland neighborhood she grew up in, Shelly is deeply rooted in the community, and embraces a Give Where You Live philosophy of service and contribution. A long-standing volunteer with the Beaverton School District, mentoring students through the Sunset High School College and Career Center, as well as various sports leagues, church and civic groups, Shelly has brought her servant leadership style to countless committees and events, always being the first to roll up her sleeves. One of her biggest endeavors has been serving on the Board of Abby’s Closet where she is in charge of outreach to more than 250 schools in Oregon and Washington to ensure the staff and students are aware of their amazing formal dress events, leadership, volunteer and scholarship opportunities.
With the support of (then) Lee Davies Real Estate, she spearheaded Brokers for Basics, a community wide effort collecting essential items for the Beaverton School District’s Clothes Closet. The overwhelming support from the community was matched in-kind by the brokers, thus doubling the final donation to benefit families in need.
Shelly is a member of National Association of Realtors®, Oregon Association of Realtors® and Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors®, earning the Diamond-Platinum status in the local Master’s Circle, which recognizes the top Realtors® in the Portland metro area. In 2019 she won the Good Neighbor Award from Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors®, acknowledging the difference she has made in her community. Her bright personality and devout commitment to her clients helps to set her apart in the industry, developing genuine and lasting relationships long after the transaction closes.
Outside of her real estate career, Shelly’s greatest joy is spending time with family whether that be on the golf course, at Black Butte, cheering the Ducks, or simply having all of her four boys home for dinner.
