Shawn has always had a passion for real estate. She loves how every building is unique, just like every person. Ranging anywhere from classic/traditional to modern and innovative, she enjoys finding the right property for the right person. Growing up in rural southwest Missouri near the Ozark Mountains, her father made his living as a farrier. Watching him work with horses and cattle taught her the value of an honest day's work and the importance of patience. She attributes her eye for detail to a long line of very creative people. The combination of these makes up Shawn's knack for problem-solving and her dedication to whatever she does. Shawn has almost a decade of experience in sales and six years in the service industry. She has received recognition as a top performer and team leader making her an asset in selling your home or business. Shawn also has eight years of experience in warehousing/manufacturing, starting on the production line, working her way to forklift operator, clerk, assistant project manager, and eventually office manager. She understands how paramount processes are to getting things done and will apply that in helping you find the property that fits your needs. Shawn purchased her first home in 1999 at the age of nineteen. Moving to Bolingbrook, IL in 2004, she is familiar with Chicagoland and many of its suburbs. Since falling in love with the scenery of the Illinois Valley, Shawn has called Ottawa/Naplate home since 2009. She hopes to help all her clients find a place they can call home as well.
