Bio
Sean has built deep roots in the business community and the non-profit sectors in efforts to better Hawaii. He volunteers and serves on the Board of Directors of several organizations including Institute for Human Services (vice chair), The Gift Foundation, National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), and Entrepreneurs Organization (EO Hawaii – President elect). Sean is also a designee and served seven years on the Board of Directors for CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member), which is recognized as the PhD. of commercial real estate.
Since 2001 Sean has been a top producer in the commercial real estate market in Hawaii. He was included in the Hawaii Business Magazine’s 20 For The Next 20 – Hawaii’s People to Watch which is an exclusive list of 20 emerging leaders who have already made big contributions to Hawaii and are expected to have an even greater impact over the next two decades. In addition, Sean was a Pacific Business News’ “Top Forty Under 40”, which is a list of the state’s most influential business and civic leaders under the age of 40. He was also voted on by his peers and was named one of Hawaii Business Magazine’s Commercial Real Estate All-Stars and CCIM of the Year.
Sean specializes in corporate office leasing and investment sales. His professional experience includes landlord and tenant representation assignments with local, national, and international corporations. Prior to founding CAA, Sean was one of the youngest to achieve the position of Vice President at the largest commercial real estate firm in Hawaii. He joined the company in early 2000 and earned the title of Top Producer in the office division every year since 2001.
In addition to his corporate real estate efforts, Sean has created a niche for himself in the healthcare commercial real estate sector. Representing hospital and clinical clients such as: Kaiser Permanente Hawaii; Hawaii Pacific Health (a merger between Straub Hospitals, Pali Momi, Kapiolani Women’s and Children and Wilcox Hospital); private practice groups, and surgery and imaging centers, he is a leading force in this definitive category of commercial real estate.
Conversant in Japanese, Sean is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the states of Hawaii and Massachusetts.
