Scott Menkus has worked in Cushman & Wakefield’s Century City office since 2004 with a focus on local landlord and tenant representation. During the past 20 years he has been involved in some of the largest and most complex lease transactions in Southern California, representing a wide range of corporate tenants including Jacobs Engineering, CBS Corporation, CIBC World Markets, Princess Cruises, Pharmavite, Playboy Enterprises, Participant Media, ICM, Antioch University and Uber. Mr. Menkus has also represented and continues to represent a number of institutional landlords including Lincoln Property Company, Douglas Emmett, IDS Real Estate Group, Blackstone/Equity Office Properties, Maguire Investments and Vornado Realty Trust. Prior to brokerage, Mr. Menkus was head of Cushman & Wakefield’s Century City research department where he focused on data collection and interpretation of Southern California’s office and industrial submarkets. Mr. Menkus graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a Bachelor of Arts degree. During his studies he developed growth strategies for Oxford Companies in Ann Arbor, one of the largest commercial landlords in southeastern Michigan. Mr. Menkus was the youngest member elected to the Board of Directors for Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters Los Angeles in the organization’s 90 year history and has volunteered as a Big Brother since 2005. Mr. Menkus is a member of LACRA (Los Angeles Commercial Realty Association) and CoreNet Global.
