Scott Elkins is a native of Northern Virginia. Formerly was a Senior Vice President and Washington Area Executive for Corporate Banking at Sovran Bank. He also held senior level positions at First Union Bank. He has been responsible for financing hundreds of millions of dollars in business and commercial real estate. For the past ten years he has been one of the leading commercial real estate practitioners in the area. A graduate of East Tennessee State University, the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers and, the School of Credit and Financial Management at Dartmouth College, he is the founding partner in the firm of Elkins Lane Realty Advisors, a multi-service real estate consulting company. He is also the top producing commercial agent for Weichert Commercial in the Washington metropolitan area. He has been a guest lecturer at Rober Morris Associates, the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, American Institute of Banking, Credit Management Associates, the Small Business Administration, and the Army War College.
