Ryan Sullivan is a senior vice president and retail expert at CBRE, based in Newport Beach, CA. Together with his partner Jeff Nichols, established one of the preeminent retail leasing teams in the region. The team’s primary focus is on the retail occupier business throughout Southern California and Hawaii. Jeff and Ryan, currently represent several of the best national retail brands in the country, including Target, Nordstrom Rack, Burlington Stores, Sprouts Farmers Market, Cost Plus World Market, PVH, ULTA Beauty, Floor & Décor, Kirkland’s, Dick's Sporting Goods and Nike, among others. Prior to joining CBRE, Ryan was a principal at Western Retail Advisors. With over two decades of experience, Ryan joined the team in 2008 to help establish the firm’s California office. Ryan’s expertise lies in tenant representation and handling all facets of a retailer’s expansion needs. Ryan’s primary focus has been developing and executing market-entry strategies for retailers such as Sprouts Farmers Markets, REI, Tesco’s Fresh & Easy, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Harkins Theatres, Henry’s Markets, Five Below and Ulta Cosmetics. On the landlord side, Ryan has represented major developers such as Vestar, Alberta Development Partners, Paragon, Walton Street, Inland and DDR.
