Based in CBRE’s Midtown Manhattan office, Ryan Alexander is a Vice Chairman (Honorary Title) with the firm’s Advisory & Transaction Services Group. Focusing on new business development, he develops solutions for local, national and global real estate requirements for some of New York’s most significant corporate occupiers and owners of many of the city’s iconic properties.
With a deep understanding of the challenges his occupier clients face, Ryan represents a wide range of industries primarily focusing on venture capital, financial services and technology firms in lease acquisitions and space dispositions throughout New York, the U.S. and across the globe. He leverages his personal experience in the tech/venture capital universe to offer his clients clear real estate strategies, resources and relationships to help their businesses thrive and grow.
Ryan is also an experienced landlord/owner’s representative and has been deeply involved in multiple game-changing properties in the New York real estate market. He is one of the leaders of the 8 million-sq.-ft. Hudson Yards leasing team and the extraordinary One Vanderbilt, which encompasses more than 1.3 million sq. ft.
Ryan is frequently recognized for his work in the industry. He is a 8-time recipient of the Colbert Coldwell Circle Award, which recognizes CBRE’s top producers—and was honored to be 2023’s Top Office Broker. He was named to Commercial Observer’s list of “30 under 30” in 2016 and was named Manhattan’s Top Associate in 2013.
