Royce Carpenter has lived in Erath County Texas his whole life. He received a Bachelor of Science in education from Tarleton State University in 1973. He was Principal and teacher at Three Way Common School District and attended graduate school at Tarleton for two years before accepting a teaching position at Granbury ISD. He attended Graduate School at East Texas State University in Commerce, TX in 1976 and 77 earning certification as a Vocational Administrator and is a life member of the Texas Industrial Vocational Association. Royce has been a carpenter, cabinet builder, furniture maker and building contractor all of his adult life. He and his wife Karen have been in the antique and auction business for more than 34 years. He has been a Realtor since 1990.
