Bio
Originally from Miami, Florida, Ross moved to Crested Butte in 2000 and has been working as a licensed Colorado real estate agent for the past 16 years. He has extensive experience in residential, luxury, commercial, income and local deed-restricted properties. In 2009 Ross was selected by the Town of Mt. Crested Butte to be the town’s realtor for the sale of their newly constructed Prospect Homestead subdivision. Ross has successfully helped many locals and second homeowners alike with their real estate needs. Ross is an active member of the community, and over the years has volunteered and worked with various local non-profits including the Adaptive Sports Center, Crested Butte Arts Festival, Mountain High Music Festival and Tough Enough to Wear Pink. Ross’s hobbies and recreational interests include playing guitar and drums (not at the same time… yet), songwriting, skiing, mountain biking, hiking, surf travel, sailing, ornithology, paddle boarding, and extended river and wilderness travel. One of his claims to fame is his hike from Crested Butte to Telluride in 2012. After 15 years of skiing (converted from snowboarding in 2005), Ross is starting to get pretty good, and he is now more passionate about skiing than ever before. Upon first moving to Crested Butte, Ross, along with his brother Eric (of Gas Café fame) and a few good friends, created the original Firehouse Grill in Mt. Crested Butte. Locals and visitors alike still talk about the best hot wings ever and the good times had at the Firehouse some 20 years ago. One of Ross’s great joys in life is being the proud uncle of two local CB kids and getting to spend time with family. Ross says, “I know life is good when I am walking from my office to the Gasser, looking out to Paradise Divide, to get a McStop and a cup of coffee and to visit with my brother and best friend.”
