Bio
Ronnie comes from a diverse background. He was a self-employed farmer from 1968 – 1986. He served as a Franklin County Commissioner for twelve (12) years and a Franklinton Town Commissioner for five (5) years. During the period between 1990 and 1998 he worked with Kerr-Tar Regional Council of Government as Economic Development Director covering the counties of Franklin, Granville, Person, Vance and Warren.
After leaving Kerr-Tar, Ronnie worked with North Carolina Farm Bureau Insurance for 18 months. When the position of Economic Developer for Franklin County came available, he applied and was hired in 1998. Ronnie served in this position for eighteen (18) years, retiring in 2016.
Ronnie was able to stay retired for 31 days. On August 1 of that year, he went to work with Carolina Sunrock, as the Director of Business & Economic Development. Carolina Sunrock provides aggregate, concrete, and asphalt to the counties that Ronnie will cover as Adcock’s commercial broker.
