Ron spent his early years in Texas where he earned a BS degree in electrical engineering from the University of Houston. After several years in the engineering and aerospace industry in California, he discovered a passion for finance and commercial investment real estate. He moved to Nevada where he started a successful business specializing in commercial real estate investment and development. A desire to return to his engineering roots took him to Santa Barbara, California where he founded an information technology company that provided IT services for government agencies and Fortune 500 companies. After a rewarding 13 year career, Nevada's booming economy motivated him to return to Las Vegas in 2001 where he co-developed several highly successful commercial real estate developments for investors and end users.
After witnessing the devastating effect of the recession on the wealth of individuals, Ron realized that sound financial planning and prudent investing was paramount to pursuing financial security. After being referred to The Wealth Consulting Group (WCG) and meeting with the principals, he decided WCG was the perfect fit, offering him the opportunity to help clients make the important financial decisions necessary to help protect and grow their wealth.
Ron holds his Series 7 and 66 securities registrations with LPL Financial, his Nevada state Life, Health and Variable Annuity Insurance License, and his California state Life Insurance License.
Ron has been happily married to his wife, Charlene, for more than 40 years. They have one son, Michael, who resides in San Diego with his wife, and a wonderful granddaughter.
