Originally from Peru, South America, Rolando moved to the United States when he was 16 years old. With no knowledge of the English language, he quickly learned his way around the school system and mastered the language. After graduating High School, Rolando continued his education and graduated from Indiana University with degrees in Finance, International Business, and Economics.
Rolando successfully managed several bank locations as a District Manager overseeing 18 offices and responsible for $1 billion in deposits and investments, $203 million in loans, and over $160 million in business relations. His successful career is a result of hard work, dedication, perseverance, and most importantly, a desire to help his employees be successful.
With a true passion for developing people and “passing it forward,” many existing Bank Professionals were at one point under the supervision of Rolando. Having identified people development as a true personal passion, Rolando joined the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) in 2003 with the goal of promoting Hispanics to pursue higher education. With NSHMBA, Rolando worked as a volunteer on the Stepping Stone Project, which involved addressing prospective Hispanic high school students about the importance of learning English, pursuing higher education, and becoming an asset to their communities.
Rolando transitioned to South Florida in 2015 where he identified the great and unique opportunities that the market provides to invest and grow in Real Estate. As an international hub, proximity to the Caribbean Islands and South America, no state income tax, sun, and beaches throughout the year, South Florida truly provides a very appealing opportunity for just about any industry; Real Estate being on top of the list.
