Bio
Roger Daigle has been affiliated with New England's hospitality industry for over 33 years. His industry affiliation started when he served as Executive Director of the Maine Innkeepers Association. He has maintained a connection to the Association as an Allied Member ever since. Daigle has served on various committees and boards as a member and chairman of several organizations, including the Maine-Canadian Affairs Legislative Advisory Council, Junior Achievement of Southern Maine's Board of Directors, and Portland's Serenity House Board. After graduating from Husson College, Daigle worked in their Admissions Department for five years, before his promotion to Director of Admissions after successfully doubling the incoming enrollment. He left Husson to pursue a career in Marketing and Public Relations, and subsequently served on Husson's Alumni Board. Daigle represented Husson University for their acquisition of a 35,000 sf building for Husson's new Portland area campus. Daigle Commercial Group's real estate brokerage practice specializes in the sale of numerous hotel/motel properties and inns of every type and size, from Madawaska to York, including Maine's well-known historic hotels -- the Lucerne Inn, Ogunquit's Colonial Inn, Camden's Whitehall Inn, and the Rangeley Inn. Daigle has brokered the sales of premier resort hotels, including the Grand Hotel and Pink Blossoms Resort in Ogunquit, and the Sheepscot River Inn in Wiscasset/Edgecomb. Other sales include Saco's Hampton Inn, Augusta's Days Inn, and other franchised properties affiliated with Hilton, Choice, Best Western, and the Select Registry of Distinguished Inns of North America.
